Should Kids Do CrossFit?

Ready for a hot topic all parents ask themselves, especially during summer time? That question was rhetorical! This one isn’t though…

“Should my kid lift weights? What about doing CrossFit?”

It’s a serious questions that holds a lot of weight.

We want our children to have the best lives possible. We pass down knowledge and shortcuts so they can get a leg up and have an even better life than we have had.

As an adult who weight lifts 5-6x per week, I see immense value in exercise and learning how to move heavy loads. But, at what age should my son learn how to lift? If I do it to soon, will I permanently injure him?

Another good question to ask is, “what if I don’t teach my child how to move properly?”
