This past Wednesday we attacked the workout “Jackie” and in that workout, we rowed 750m-1000m.
At some point before that workout, did you ever look at the numbers on the side of the machine and wonder what the heck is that lever for?
Well, that lever helps determine the “Drag” your rower has on each of your pulls and while it acts a bit like resistance in the sense that you have to pull harder on the chain to get it to move the higher you put the lever, but you actually could move faster and farther than you would if you were using a lighter drag.
Instead of talking your ear off about it, how about we show you exactly how to find the Drag Factor Setting that is optimal for you!
