How to Do A GHD Sit-Up!

Have you looked in the corner of the gym and noticed a weird piece of scaffolding with 2 giant butt pads on it?

That thing over there is called the Glute-Hamstring-Devloper. This means it was designed to build muscle in the back of your legs in a muscle group called the “posterior chain!”

Well, today we are gonna go over what we CrossFitters use it for most…Abs.

Yup, it is designed for one thing and us CrossFitters use it for another (don’t worry, we have videos coming out about how to use this thing as intended as well).

The GHD Sit-Up is a fantastic movement that trains an athlete’s core strength in a range of motion we couldn’t otherwise reach in the sit-up.

In today’s video, Coach Brian covers the Do’s and Don’t’s of the GHD in terms of our GHD Sit-up and how to get the most of this potent exercise!

If you’ve got down sit-ups cold, give 3 sets of 10 a try today after your workout and notice the difference in how this movement feels on those abs compared to the regular sit-up!
