Women of Vegvisir!

Hey ladies,

I know that it is usually Kidd writing these posts, but today I wanted to talk to you guys about something vulnerable today that I think can help a lot of you.

As you know, I identify as a very healthy and fit individual. I love working out with my friends and am usually the one that calls you out when I don’t see you in class.

Well, for a little under 2 years I struggled with that Identity.

Being pregnant with Tormund had me slow down in the gym and focus on making sure the baby was healthy. From the beginning of my pregnancy I went from 155lbs to 235lbs at the end of it. After giving birth to Tormund, which is one of the happiest moments of my life, I was 190lbs and I couldn’t feel my abs when I moved.

Post Partum Depression is different for all of us, for me it filled me with self doubt, depression, and anger. I was upset that my stomach wouldn’t return to where I had always known it to be.

Over the next year and a bit more, I worked building back the habits I loved as well as incorporating new ones that taught me to be more patient, resilient, and to acknowledge the amazing things in my journey and life.

This journey has now led me to where I want to help other women who are struggling, build lifelong healthy habits!

I’m currently looking for 10 women who want to join me in my Women Supporting Women Nutrition program who:

– are Tired feeling negative every day.

– are struggling to shed weight and put on muscle.

– want to feel supported and heard.

– want to make taking care of yourself a priority.
