Goal Review McGhee here again to tell you about some tales from the goal review desk!
A new problem has started popping up and as usual, I wanna give y’all some tools to help.
The new problem sweeping across the gym: “What if I don’t have the time/energy to hit the full class?”
You’re not alone! Did ya know that our family is full of nightshift workers, full-time parents w/ full-time jobs, and other high energy/minimal room for recovery routines?
Which means it is a problem we have solved before.
The simple solution?
Stop thinking that this fitness thing is “All or Nothing!”
You don’t need a perfect workout to hit your goals or even a whole hour. Part of what you came to this gym for are results. The best way to see results in the gym is to be consistent (not perfect)!
Consistency is deliberate and slow, like honey pouring out of a jar.
Inch by inch (daily action by daily action) the honey get’s closer to the bottom of the opening you’re trying to pour it out of (your goal). Your partner distracts you, work calls, kid asks what that thing is, the honey still pours down towards the spout that is working on what you want.
So, keep pouring that honey and if you can only make it for the strength portion cause you have 30 minutes, hit the strength portion.
If you are exhausted, go light a move!
Something is always better than nothing. Always.
Have a wonderful day y’all and keep pouring that honey,
