This is the #2 reason athletes leave Vegvisir (#1 is moving incase you’re curious). And, it is the #1 reason many athletes struggle keeping their consistency goals.
So, let’s break this down and see if we can’t come up with a solution because one of my 2 big purposes in life is to help you hit your goals and man do I love doing that.
What is Busy?
Busy can be 2 things in my experience: Your calendar is packed OR you feel like your calendar is packed.
Your Calendar Is Packed
Chances are if you’re this organized, the problem is REALLY simple. It’s a question of value. While you value your fitness, everything else that takes up the time you would dedicate to it you value more.
Your solution?
Look at the perfect day you want to achieve and analyze if fitness is a part of it. Knowing the health benefits of exercising, it should be. So, what is the minimum amount of time you can dedicate to your fitness each week and let’s start from there!
Then, as you see more value in the other parts you value, fitness can earn a higher status in your value ladder and boom, suddenly you’re too busy for something else.
You Feel Like It Is Packed
First, this isn’t a bad thing. It’s totally normal (well, in my experience. If it is hindering basic life functions, we can help you find a therapist in the gym should you want them).
This issue is much more about a story being told.
